Wunderlich CRUISE CONTROL – offers greater individual comfort and more throttle control – all the benefits of CRUISE CONTROL in detail
Function and product features
- CRUISE CONTROL allows the rotational resistance of the throttle grip to be individually adjusted – continuously
- Especially for the BMW F 450 GS, for which no factory cruise control is available, CRUISE CONTROL offers noticeably greater comfort on long motorway stages
- The adjustment means that the resistance when turning can be regulated – in other words, whether the grip turns easily or requires slightly more effort
- The correct setting ensures safe, comfortable and controlled operation, because
- if the grip turns too easily, accidental throttle inputs may occur, for example over uneven ground or off-road
- if the grip is too stiff, it can become strenuous or tiring over time
- Easy-to-use adjustment mechanism: turn the adjustment wheel forwards
- The friction-based mechanism allows precise, individual adjustment,
- for example to damp the automatic return of the throttle grip to its initial position,
- to maintain the desired throttle position constantly – virtually like cruise control – in order to maintain a desired speed on long-distance stages,
- to avoid painful cramping and fatigue in the right forearm
- Discreet mechanism when the function is deactivated
- The smooth-turning, Teflon-mounted adjustment mechanism is integrated into the right handlebar end weight
- Extremely lightweight, high-strength version made from anodised aluminium
- Elegant design and clear weight advantage
- Simple conversion – mounting material is included in the scope of delivery
- Made in Germany
Important note
- CRUISE CONTROL is only permitted for road use as a handlebar end weight
- The throttle grip locking function must not be used within the area of application of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations, StVZO

Individually adjustable CRUISE CONTROL for greater ergonomic comfort and safety at the throttle grip – especially on long journeys
CRUISE CONTROL enables continuous adjustment of the rotational resistance of the throttle grip – in other words, how easily or stiffly the grip can be moved. This allows individual adaptation for safe, comfortable and controlled operation: a grip that turns too easily can cause unintended and sometimes dangerous throttle inputs on uneven terrain or off-road, while a grip that is too stiff can become tiring over time. The adjustment mechanism is easy to operate – by turning an adjustment wheel forwards – and works by friction, enabling a finely adjustable, permanent setting. This can be used, for example, to damp the automatic return of the throttle grip, to maintain a constant throttle position – similar to cruise control – on longer rides, or to reduce strain on the right forearm.
The continuously adjustable, Teflon-mounted mechanism is discreetly integrated into the right handlebar end weight. The version is made from extremely lightweight, high-strength aluminium with an elegant design and a noticeable weight advantage. Installation is straightforward, and all mounting material is supplied. Made in Germany.
CRUISE CONTROL may only be used on public roads as a handlebar end weight. Locking the throttle grip is not permitted within the area of application of the German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations, StVZO.
