This Wunderlich tank protection bar is designed for adventure riding and reliably protects not only the tank, but also the fairing, the front section and the vulnerable water cooler unit. In combination with the Wunderlich engine protection bar (#40611-002), it forms a well-thought-out all-round protection concept for passive safety: in the event of a fall or tip-over, the forces acting on the bike are optimally distributed via the protection bar structure to the load-bearing mounting points, reducing force and torque peaks. Visually, the protection bar integrates superbly into the motorcycle’s design and emphasises its distinctive appearance. The tank protection bar is made from a composite of precision steel tubes. The tube segments are formed specifically for the model on CNC tube bending machines and then cleanly welded.
