Use this adapter to control your Garmin zūmo XT2, XT3, XT3S and Tread 2 Powersport with the BMW Multi-Controller

Until now, neatly integrating Garmin sat navs into BMW models has meant making compromises when it comes to operation and installation. This adapter connects the zūmo XT2, XT3, XT3S and Tread 2 Powersport directly to the original BMW Navigator preparation – including power supply and control via the Multi-Controller, known in the community as the Wonder Wheel. No additional mounts, no external wiring, full operation via the handlebar or touchscreen.

Our recommendation for theft protection

On most BMW motorcycles, the Navigator preparation can be locked manually using the ignition key. With the lock adapter (#21189-102), the zūmo XT2, XT3, XT3S and Tread 2 Powersport are locked in place and secured against unauthorised access.
The lock adapter is not suitable for the electronic BMW Navigator preparation.

The Plug & Ride adapter as the link between the BMW Multi-Controller, BMW Navigator preparation and Garmin sat nav

With this Plug & Ride adapter, you connect and integrate your Garmin zūmo XT2, XT3, XT3S and Tread 2 Powersport directly into the original BMW Navigator preparation – including power supply and operation via the BMW Multi-Controller.

You control zoom and additional freely assignable functions directly from the handlebar, without having to take your hands off the grips. The adapter links the Garmin and BMW systems seamlessly and works with both the classic, manually lockable Navigator preparation and the new electrically locking version.

Even without the BMW Multi-Controller, the Garmin remains fully operable via the touchscreen.

This is an advantage if your BMW is not equipped with a Multi-Controller.

A cover to protect the Plug & Ride adapter is included. The navigation device can be locked using the separately available lock adapter (#21189-102) (only fits with the manually lockable Navigator preparation).
