The carbon components are carefully hand-laminated by experienced professionals to guarantee consistent fibre alignment without distortion. After curing in the autoclave, the edges are precisely trimmed by robot for a perfect fit and top quality.

Unique polymer powder coating

A globally unique step in Ilmberger’s production process is the complete polymer powder coating of all carbon parts. This coating not only protects the components from environmental influences but also creates an exceptional depth effect. This type of sealing prevents the parts from ageing and significantly extends their service life.

The final high-gloss clear coat ensures a smooth, flawless surface that further enhances the luxurious and sporty appearance of the carbon parts. Every part that leaves production is a technical and visual masterpiece that meets the highest standards.
