Note

Due to the mechanism and the steep angle of the side stand, it is always advisable to check that the Pan is standing securely. For our side stand extension, we therefore chose a polyamide material whose favourable sliding properties support the safe engagement of the side stand. The material is also lighter than aluminium.

Your Pan Am’s insurance policy: Due to the small contact surface of the original side stand, there is a risk of slow, often unnoticed sinking both on hot asphalt and on slightly softened ground. A precisely milled extension plate that is simply bolted to the side stand effectively eliminates this design flaw. And to allow the side stand to be deployed easily with the heel of your boot, we have integrated an outer serration.
